“We bought it as a weekender – this place came up and blew us away and it continues to blow us away to this day, and it’s really only an hour away from the city,” Mrs Carter says.
“It’s got a real feel to it – the cottage is very welcoming, and the previous owners had renovated it to perfection so we haven’t needed to change anything.
“We’ve spent a lot of time out on that deck drinking coffee, and then later in the day a wine. “That view is so beautiful and every season has a new surprise and the birdlife here is absolutely incredible.”

“As well as being just an amazing home, it would make a great rental because accommodation is tough to get down here and it’s equidistant between Victor Harbor and Normanville, so it’s ideally placed for surfers who can easily go where the waves are. We’ve loved it here.”
